Fabricator - Assembler Positions
Metro Services is immediately hiring experienced Assemblers and Fabricators for a construction company in Columbia, TN. This is an Internal Temp/Contract position.
This is a 6-month temporary assignment with the ability to travel to other job sites once job is completed.
Job summary:
- Prepare plastic sheets for fabrication
- Assemble plastic components and parts
Successful candidates must be able to operate the following equipment:
- Thermoplastic hand welders
- Vertical and horizontal band saws
- Butt welders
- Fusion welders
- Press brake
- Shear
- Fork truck
Compensation:
Based on experience
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
7:00am - 5:30pm and
Saturday
7:00am - 3:30pm

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must have basic shop knowledge
- Must be able to read, write and must have basic math skills
- Must have basic knowledge of fabrication methods (such as steel, wood and plastic)
- Must own hand tools
- Must be able to work in environment with fluctuating temperatures
Preferred requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
