Fabricator - Assembler Positions

Metro Services is immediately hiring experienced Assemblers and Fabricators for a construction company in Columbia, TN. This is an Internal Temp/Contract position.

This is a 6-month temporary assignment with the ability to travel to other job sites once job is completed.

Job summary:

• Prepare plastic sheets for fabrication


• Assemble plastic components and parts

Successful candidates must be able to operate the following equipment:

• Thermoplastic hand welders


• Vertical and horizontal band saws


• Butt welders


• Fusion welders


• Press brake


• Shear


• Fork truck

Compensation:
Based on experience

Schedule:
Monday - Friday
7:00am - 5:30pm and

Saturday
7:00am - 3:30pm

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Must have basic shop knowledge


• Must be able to read, write and must have basic math skills


• Must have basic knowledge of fabrication methods (such as steel, wood and plastic)


• Must own hand tools


• Must be able to work in environment with fluctuating temperatures

Preferred requirements:

• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
