Do you have Customer Service experience in the Automotive industry? If so, we have the perfect job for you! Metro Industrial Services is seeking to immediately hire a Customer Service Supervisor for a company in Hamptonville, NC. This is a Direct Hire. Don't wait to apply!

Customer Service Supervisor will be directly responsible for the following:

  • Maintaining customer contact, correspondence, and accurate implementation and completion of all order entry functions

  • Maintaining the inbound and outbound of all customer container usage

  • Controlling inventory levels on-site and within customer systems

  • Working with logistics and scheduling departments to communicate usage needs

  • Establishing and maintaining container requirements supplied by the customers

Other duties include the following:

  • Supervisor for all Customer Service Representatives and Shipping Coordinators

  • Maintains customer account profiles, database, and Oracle procedures

  • Implements order entry, changes orders, and does price documentation

  • Communicates with customers and internal departments to maximize scheduling

  • Monitors shipments for performance

  • Responsible for forecast input for appropriate sales

  • Responsible for complaint and return procedure

  • Communicates customer requirements and feedback to the company

  • Acts as backup for department as needed

  • After hours, contacts with the ability to schedule expedites and generate required shipping paperwork

  • Monitors daily input of all OEM customers

  • Manages all customer container systems

  • Creates internal container inventory system if not supplied by customers

  • Counts and maintains tracking of all returnable containers used in Production

  • Establishes container fleet size per item based on customer requirements

  • Communicates with both Production and customers when expendable packaging is needed due to container shortage

  • Participates in APQP meetings to understand packaging and container requirements

  • Fills out customer-specific forms to manage container inventory

  • Orders replacement returnable packaging when needed

  • Effectively communicates with all necessary personnel involved in container usage and requirements

  • Ensures employee compliance to process operating standards and standard work requirements; Immediately corrects non-conformance to procedure

  • Ensures compliance to all rules, regulations, and policies; Immediately documents, communicates, and corrects violations or unsafe conditions; Treats all direct reports equally with respect and compassion

  • Reviews department performance (safety, productivity, customer concerns, 6S); Discusses and initiates countermeasures for off-target performance; Follows up on Associates' needs and concerns as it relates to Production and customer needs

Required Qualifications :

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or higher education

  • 10+ Years Automotive Customer Service

  • Experience in representing supplier to Big 3 OEM

  • Experience in interacting with Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Experience w/ Oracle
